New member of the ATA’s ITC

FDWA joins the Australian Trucking Association's Industry Technical Council.

FDWA’s Fleet & Workshop Manager, Graham Lock, has recently become a member of the Australian Trucking Association’s Industry Technical Council (ITC).

The ITC is a working committee that provides technical input and best practice advice to the Australian Trucking Association with the goal to enhance the trucking industry’s safety, professionalism and viability. Bringing operators, suppliers, engineers and industry specialists together, the council benefits both the industry and stakeholders by raising technology and maintenance standards and improving the operational safety of the heavy vehicle industry.

As well as providing input and advice to the Australian Trucking Association, the ITC is responsible for developing and recommending Technical Advisory Procedures and safety alerts, providing industry representatives to serve on government and Standards Australia technical committees, and developing the Australian Trucking Association Technology and Maintenance Conference program.

With over 35 years’ experience in the fuel industry, 11 of those years with FDWA, Graham has a wealth of knowledge and experience that will benefit the ITC immensely. Graham invests personally towards ensuring the FDWA fleet and workshop maintain a high standard of operation and maintenance and will be able to provide a diverse set of skills and expertise to the ITC going forward.
